Beyond the projects and the code, here's some of what shapes how I think and the things I like to make.
Happiest outside
Home is Northern California, and the outdoors is never far—mountains, trails, rivers, and the odd trek through the Trinity Alps. Time in nature is where most of my ideas actually show up.
Homesteading
Software is the craft, but the urge to design and create doesn't stop at the screen.
Something always playing
Away from the keyboard there's usually an instrument within reach. Playing music is my favorite way to think without words.
